Crisis
'76 (SHORT
2004)
On an idyllic day in 1976, the residents of a peaceful
San Diego neighborhood suddenly discover themselves
stripped of every stitch of clothes they have. Chaos
erupts as closets and dressers are found empty. Soon
it is clear that the phenomenon is not restricted to
California. In the "Situation Room" of the
White House, a stark naked Ford Administration desperately
clings to its dignity while searching for answers. Is
it the Soviets? Are we under attack? No — it’s
happening all over the world. Only the nation’s
greatest scientific minds can offer some kind of explanation.
But, as the brilliant Dr. Von Forstenberg explains to
President Gerald Ford, the only clue they have exists
in the year 2004 under the name of "Tom Ruprecht."
Finally it’s up to President Ford to make a connection
with the future and solve the crisis of ’76. Crisis
’76 was recently selected as a part of Digital
